1940's Art Deco Orvin. 10 Karat Rolled Gold Plate Bezel, Stainless Steel Back.
Swiss made, white dial with gold hands and numerals, sub. second hand, 17 Jewel
Mechanical Movement. New Old Stock Lizard Grain Leather Strap, Strap made
for Longines-Whittnauer. The watch is running well and keeping time. **See note
on mechanical watches below** The case is in superb condition! Dial is Excellent.
No rust on movement. The movement could use a cleaning, but I have taken that

**Mechanical watches need to be wound daily, when you are wearing them.
About 12 to 14 turns of the crown is all that is necessary, and will prevent them
from being wound too tightly, when watch is completely run down. 10 turns of
the crown daily should be sufficient to keep it running for 24 hour periods.

I personally collect a few old watches, and from my experience I can tell you
that, if you can get a mechanical watch to keep time within 1 to 3 minutes a day
you are doing well. They are not as accurate as modern watches with quartz
movements. The watches listed here will keep good time to within a couple of
minutes a day or better. Parts watches will be sold "As is". Straps in pictures
are folded under. Pictures with strap are 100% actual size.


1949 - '50 Hamilton 14 Karat Yellow Gold Filled Case. I do not
know the model name of this one, but it is similar to a Hamilton
"Lester", only this one has hidden lugs. Silvered dial with gold
hands and numerals, sub. second hand. The movement is a 19
Jewel #982. The back is engraved with a name and
presentation from "United States Natoinal Bank 1950". There
is some very light discoloration on the dial. The case is in
excellent condition with no scratches or wear. It has a new
band. The movement has been cleaned, runs well and keeps
good time. The overall condition is Excellent.

Art Deco Elgin with unusual bezel and lugs. The dial has a little area of staining
across the bottom of the sub second hand, but the overall appearance is much
better than the way it looks in the close up. The watch is running and keeping good
time. The movenment is a model 554, 17 jewel, with 4 adjustments. The leather
strap is new. This is a very attractive watch with classic styling. The back of the
case is stainless steel and the bezel is 10K gold filled. Overall condition Good to
Very Good.

14K Solid Gold Lord Elgin wristwatch, made in 1955. This watch
has been recently cleaned and timed. It runs well and keeps good
time. It has a new crystal and the textured dial is perfect. The
movement is a cal. 670 and is a 21 jewel. The exterior of the case
has been restored and is beautiful. The back of the case is engraved
"M.T.R., McCall Corporation, 1935 -1955". The leather strap is a
new old stock Hamilton in Genuine Lizard.

Circa 1941 Hamilton "Wilshire"in rose/pink gold
filled case. These are a popular watch and an
difficult to find in rose g.f. The dial is rose colored
as well, and has white gold numerals. The crystal
is the original glass or rock crystal. It has a nick
at 9 o'clock and 11. The back has some minor
scratches and peck marks, but not much wear. All
the gold is intact. The movement is a cal. 982
19 jewel, which has been cleaned and timed. The
watch runs well and keeps good time. The band
is a hand made Debeer in genuine Crocodile. It
apears to have been worn on the wrist once or
twice, but is in fine condition. The overall
condition of the watch is Very Good.
